+ ) 아직 결과가 안나와서 추후 업데이트 해보도록 하겠다. 근데,, 8-9월에 합격하면 이것만 가고 싶은 학생들은 비자처리를 어케할지 궁금하긴 하다. 한국이야 3개월 체류 가능하지만 뭄바이 이런데선 안되는거같던데

 

조건은 충족하는 것 같아서 비록 Computer Science 지만 서류를 내봤다. 또, TU 9이라 내봤다 ^^.

대학교 소개

1828년 설립된 전통 깊은 공과대학으로, 현재 약 29,000명 학생과 600명 교수진이 재직하는 독일 동부 최대 규모의 공대. 드레스덴 중심부 캠퍼스에 전기·컴퓨터공학, 수학, 자연과학 단과대 분산, ‘Silicon Saxony’로 불리는 유럽 유망 산업 클러스터 내에 위치해음.

학과 소개

트랙 : Open Track, Distributed Systems Engineering

기본+전공 모듈:

• 필수: 연구 프로젝트, 보완 역량(발표, 언어 등), 석사 논문 (4학기 중 진행)
• 전공 예시: AI / 알고리즘, 소프트웨어 공학, 시스템 구조, 보안, HCI, 시각 컴퓨팅, 컴퓨터 공학, CPS 등 총 9개 분야 중 선택 가능.

Requirements

90 credit points with non-overlapping content from the following areas:

• at least 35 credit points on topics of operating systems, computer networks, distributed systems, computer architecture, computer engineering, databases, data security, computer graphics or human-computer interaction;
• at least 35 credit points in the fundamentals of mathematics (for computer science), theoretical computer science or artificial intelligence,
• at least 20 credit points in the fundamentals of programming, data structures and software engineering.

제출 서류

• Enrollment documents according to the online application,
• **Request for Verification of Specific Knowledge** for the Master's degree program in Computer Science (will be provided from April 1st, 2025),
• Curriculum vitae, in particular describing your academic career to date,
• Letter of motivation, which sets out the reasons for your wish to study and your particular aptitude,
• Copy of the first professionally qualifying university degree certificate or confirmation from the responsible office at your university that at least 80% of the credit points required for the university degree have been achieved (so-called 80% certificate),
• Copies of additional certificates and proof of special aptitude,
• Module descriptions (or comparable content overviews) of the modules relevant to the Master's degree program in Computer Science,
• Proof of the required English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) based on the result of an internationally offered test.

 

Concerning Points

1. 인종차별 

한가지 마음에 좀 많이 걸리는 점은 인종차별이다. 레딧에 보면 드레스덴 지역에서 공부하는 외국인들 사이에서 인종차별을 많이 겪는 듯 하다. 심지어 독일어를 C1레벨 이상 구사하는 중국인도 인종차별때문에 지긋지긋하다고 쓴 글들이 좀 있다. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

동독이라 아직 그런 문화가 남아있는 것에 대한 신빙성이...

 

2. 학습플랜 

Course Catalog 등등 살펴보니.. 딱히 이걸 석사에서 까지 배워야 할까..? 정말 원한다면 걍 지금 당장 내가 공부하면 되지 않을까? 싶은 플랜이여서 좀 망설여진다. 이미 업무하느라 공부한 내용들이 좀 겹치는데 이 학교 추구 방향과 내 지난날의 업무가 좀 겹쳐서 이 분야의 전문가가 되려면 좋아보이긴 하는데,, 또 굳이 하고싶지 않은 그런 느낌적인 느낌느낌
